Terms of business
Frank's Autos Ltd (“we,” “us”) provides classic-car restoration, performance, recommissioning, and inspection services from premises at Unit 10, 3 Boss Avenue, Grovebury Road, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 4SD. By engaging us, you agree to the working terms below; if anything here conflicts with a written quote or scope document, the written document wins.
Quotes & scope
Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue. The quoted figure assumes the vehicle is as described at intake. We will tell you in writing — and seek your approval — before any work that would push the total cost above the quoted range by more than 10%.
Payment
Standard schedule is 25% on commencement, 25% at body-off, 25% at primer-ready, 25% on sign-off. All amounts are in pounds sterling, exclusive of VAT, payable by bank transfer. We do not accept payment for restoration work in cryptocurrency.
Sign-off
Every vehicle that leaves the workshop has been signed off personally by Frank Sizer. If a defect emerges that we caused or missed, bring it back. We fix the things we put our name on.
Privacy
We collect and use personal data only to deliver our services and keep the regulatory paperwork straight. We never sell your data. We do not share it with marketing platforms, ad networks, or data brokers.
Your details are stored on UK-based servers. We retain customer records for seven years after the final sign-off, per HMRC guidance. You can request a full copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete records older than the statutory retention period, at any time.
Data we hold
For quotes and bookings: name, email, phone, vehicle details, and any photos or notes you submit. For active projects: build history, parts records, paint codes, dyno results, and the photographic record of every stage. For paid work: invoice and payment data per HMRC retention requirements.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits by page and see which pages lead to a quote or booking. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; until then nothing is stored. We do not run advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. If your browser sends Do-Not-Track we treat it as a decline. We also use Plausible Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you. Change your cookie settings.
